South West Report
Hi all, went for dive down south on Saturday with a couple mates. Conditions were quite good 10-12m vis . Great dive with lots of sea life. Saw a nice wobby, port jackson, fox fish ,harlequin, stingrays, sambo's and loads of bait fish. My mates also saw a 6ft bronzy but I was not so lucky.
Had to work quite hard but ended the day with 1 x Blue grouper 1 x sambo, 1 x cuttlefish ( snared ) 2 x crays ( 1 jumbo ) and 8 green and 2 brown lip abs between the 3 of us.
Cooked up right there on the rock a sample of all the spices listed and watched the sun setting before the 3 hour drive home. 17 hours from start to finish. Was it worth it? You bet!
Ps sorry no pick of the sambo it was filleted and gone by the time I came back in. It was estimated at 20 kgs.
Why do people buy s#*t they dont need to impress people they don't like!
