Need to have a look on a web site that shows water temps and see where the warmer water is and fish those warmer areas, a couple of guys down there that catch mackies consistently purchase water temp maps from CSIRO and fish the warmer areas on there, aside from all that, Naturaliste Reef would be your best bet.
Bunbury Millard classic was on this weekend so I was hoping to see a few reports posted and if there were any Macks about I thought they might pop up during the comp. Plenty of boats out on the Sunday (Saturday was a tad breezy) but yet to see any reports. Weather was ordinary and may have kept participants inshore. I didn't attend any of the weigh-ins though.
I've seen a couple free jumping out off Buso. A couple of my mates have also seen some, one mate saw a few jumping from the beach so don't have to go too far out.
