Southwind/Panga Style Longboat
Submitted by meatgroup on Tue, 2012-10-16 08:47
Helping the old man out. Finally have them on the water and looking the goods.
6.85m long with a new 80hp 4-stroke yammy - good for 24knots at 4200rpm. Have two of these boats. Both are for sale. PM for contact details.
Recently went back to get the CE certification reviewed. Now certified to handle a 115hp due to the composite core in the transom rather than the old southwinds using wood.

Nice boat
I like the layout of the boat but it needs a folding T Top and an esky leaning post/seat.

T-Top - we have them, just not fitted. wanted to leave it to the buyer to decide. I would attach a photo of the t-top dummy fitted to give an idea but I cant seem to ad a photo after making the original post ??? Esky/leaning post seats are doable. PM me for details.
CE certification was originally for 145 kg. We had the transom changed from a plywood core to a composite core. We had the CE certifiers relook at it and they reissued the certificate for 195 kg capacity.
