Try McArthy Baits; much
Try McArthy Baits; much better action, and none ofthe smell and mess of gulp, which is a soft bait anyway!
Plenty of guys on the site, including sponsors are doing well on them, including Paul G most recently!

SP info/advice
The McArthy 7inch bullhead is our favourite and we have done well on McArthy SP for a fair while now. Theyt have a great profile and whipy tail to entice a bite.
The larger head of the Bullhead allows for larger jig head weights to be iused for the deeper water ie 40-50m and will be streamline & balanced.
Technique, cast SP behind boat so by the time you have drifted onto your lump/ground/fish the SP is in the zone and start jigging. Less is more with SP jigging so small twitches of a 7ft graphite stick is the go and keep the SP in the strike zone. After a few twicthes up with the rod tip then freespool back to the bottom. Most fish will hit on the freefall and dont be too concerned about the SP being out on an angle, they'll still hit it.
