I have my eye on and a good combo
targetting one off those on one of my spots. I have hooked him about 5 times now, lines tight, jumps in the air, spins, wraps the line and twang she goes.
Now have a great OH saltiga paired with a Monster Mesh with a 150lb wind on leader to a 2 foot 220lp wire/cable on 80lb and I want to see what he does to that. Would be game on if he/she bites again and hopefully the fight is full of jumps.

Yes for sure Now that I have a new camera
(still just point and shoot) I will get some shots should this happen. I am hoping. Its always on one spot roughly. Put a livie down to get trout and he grabs it. Damn.
Now with this setup the trout wont go near it, so I just have to hope he is around.
Yes, might have to tie myself in case of the hook up, but should I be pulled overboard the line would be in freespool faster than lightning. LOL.
