Squidding out from Woodmanpoint this arvo.

Headed out roughly around 2pm for a quick squid bash, hadnt tried squidding around perth in the new boat, so found some nice weedy/sand looking ground, and boy were they thick!!! Would of caught around 25, lost more easily another 10 , due to conversation/beer drinking and not watching the rods!!!

a couple of things we noticed:

Size wore on as the day went on,it was getting to the point of squid only a 1/4 of the jig size larger!

Pink was colour of the day by far.

Orange did ok....

Was on the water from 2-5 30ish

And now very large feed of squid rings mmmm...!

cheers all

Me and the old man went out from 10-1pm and smashed getting our bag and again the pink yozuri done the damage. The size was very small, average hood 200mm, but it is still beautifull squid rings.

Looks like all of us were out

Looks like all of us were out there today!

I was out with a mate and my old man from around 730am through till say 9 chasing squiddies, got 11 but could have had plenty more.

White exile jig did most of the damage.

Then used some squid legs to get a good feed of KGs and was motoring back by around 11am.

Was a good day out!

When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:

n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or

n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.
