hey mate i used to have the 2-4kg starlo stix and its a pretty handy rod to own. action is nice and price is nice too :p you should be able to pick one up for pretty cheap nowadays from any of our local tackle shops. i still have the 5-8kg version and it has served me well over the years, nice casting. these rods are good value for money if you're looking to pick up some rods on a budget.

Hi mate, they are pretty good rods for their price, but for a few more dollars the black starlo stix tournament midspin is sweet i have had one for a couple of years and it is an awesome rod to fish large plastics for snapper/sambos etc.

I've got the Starlo Stix Tournament Pro 701M Spin I use for SP's and for my king george whiting fishing and I can definitely recommend them too. Caught some top pinkies up at Sharks Bay with it.

Cheers
Dale

I've got the 9ft starlo in shimmering blue haha. Nice rod, a bit stiff for my liking, but that comes down to personal preferance realy! They go great guns withthe salmon! Good for casting lures and good during the fight
