Steel rod clamp(s) for overhead reels where to get, please?
Submitted by glastronomic on Sun, 2012-01-08 21:18
I seem to have lost my rodclamp of 2 of my reels and would like to change 2 others from plastic provided to Stainless steel.
Where would I have a chance of getting these bits here in Perth?
2 are for Shimano Tyrnos 30 and 2 are for Penn Senator 4 & 6.

Most tackle shops should stock them
I purchased some replacements a few years ago from Campbells in Leederville. I wanted to replace the plastic clamps with metal ones with an eye you could a clip a safety line to. For memory the brand was Surecatch.

I tell you what, BCF is the worst leisure shop service provider ever!
In stark contradiction to BWT
Such a pity the Scarborough Blue Water Tackle World does not stock these.
The service and client interaction is second to none, always a pleasure to visit!
And honest good friendly advise from competent staff even to a complete fishing knob like me asking to many stupid Questions.
When you walk out with your new toy/tool a warm glow of achievement engulfs you, very unlike my BCF inflicted internal rage feeling today!.
