Steep point next week

Hi everyone,
Just wondering if anyone has some up to date information on the track into Steep Point? Heading up on Friday night for a week, staying at Shelter Bay. First time for me, others in the group have been a few times. Towing a 4.2m tinny in, just doing the bearings and trailer check today. Really looking forward to the chance to get some fish!
Thanks

Steep
We were there in June so not the latest info however back then the track in was prettyt easy going, drop your tyre pressure when the bitumen ends to soak up the corrugations then drop again at the causeway in preparation for the sand tracks. If there is a vehicle not towing send them up the track first to clear the way for the tow rig, there are a couple of spots climbing dunes on the way in where there is no room for a vehicle coming out from Steep to get past and reversing a trailer would be a PITA. Enjoy, its a spectacular part of WA.
Anytime Brad

Steep point track
Came back from DHI 2 weeks ago. Road in was fine with the usual coronations after the causeway. The track was in fairly good condition apart from the first main hill which was sandy and a bit rough. With tyres down wasn’t any problems. Just need to keep up the momentum and hope there is not a troopy with a trailer loaded to the hilt stuck halfway like when we went.
Hope you have a great trip.
I would rather be fishing
