sharks sharks sharks
hay chris i was steep point october last year , all i can say is be prepared to lose your halcos very very quickly,...... the resident sharks have called it home making it very difficult to land any spaniards, we fished for a week losing all mine and my camps to sharks, but 2, landed 2 nice spaniards on a balloon still losing its tail to a big tiger.... sum fellas there from harvey were getting sum nice snapper on the low end, the sharks would devour any spanish macks in literally seconds... was very very frustrating, in saying that there was the the odd luck one dragged up. ps the resident sharks were only taking spaniards, they only eat sharkies if they really have to...
Jiggy jig.

I'm heading to False Entrance
I'm heading to False Entrance this Saturday for a week. I can't wait, it's my second trip there this year!
My last trip was in January and the track into False was good (but it's a shorter and easier track than the one into Steep).
I put a report up on here somewhere. There was tuna around, lots of shark macks and a couple of spaniards. However it was difficult getting the tuna and spaniards past the sharks. As Stano said the sharks were ignoring the shark macks and eating all the spaniards.
Have to keep an eye on that cyclone. It looks like it will be hitting on tuesday but further north so hopefully there won't be too much rain or wind in shark bay.
