Storm water bream

Would black bream hang around storm water drains looking for wash downs ,such as worms, bugs ect.

Or would the water be to fresh  as in not brakish as they prefer.

They love dog turds....

maybe wait a few days so they sink......

fresh water runs on top.....deeper water tends to remain brackish...

Riverside drive is flooded at the moment....from the tidal surge and strong wind and rain....might find good fish in Langley Park

Ive had some good sessions ages ago with the run off from the houses in the yunderup canals. Some big bream in there this time of year.

Cheers

my father used to take us down to the old brewery on Mounts Bay Road chasing Cobbler - he reckoned they hung around for the waste water discharge - warm and full of tasty bits. And we always caught a few good ones. Unfortunately he developed a taste for what came out of the front gates as well and that finished the fishing.

From the water coming out of the drain pipe/sump washing the debris/ mud away.... blackies will sit there holding water....dont know why...might just be for fun....

maybe to get them doggy doo's.Tongue out

There are a couple of famous ones in bayswater.....and a cracker near south perth foreshore....

I know if you find a tree or rock covered in shag or pelican poh its also worth a cast....
