Have to agree, it was
Have to agree, it was lumpy. Had the kids with me and wanted to head out but the younger one was scared so we just cruised around slowly. Didn't even wet a line!

We ended up out the back of rotto, not the best conditions but still worth the effort. Hard going to start but ended up pulling in a 4 sambos before we called it. Very lumpy. Ended up copping a wave over the bow which wet everything. Came into the 60s and pulled a good baldie before ending up on the west side for a nice pinkie, did loose 3 good fish though. All in all not a bad day. Not to sure if Jody wants to come fishing again though. lol
Will seabreeze ever get it right.

Anytime Steve
Anytime at all :) Eventhough it was a bit messy, sharks always worry me more :(
Nasty nasty things.
Still, it was a fun day, and definately a lot of laughs!!
Pretty happy how the new reel & 'don't f*** with me stick' handle a Sambo ;)
I am, truly amazed, given the level of technology available today, not one of the weather (wind) forcasters can get it right. Yesterday was a prime example. BOM was the closest, but had forcast the wind coming from a completely different direction.
And lets not mention the amount of times crappy conditions are forcast and it ends up spectatular

Tues 8th
I arrived in my boat (Amberlin), did one pass and went to the Outer Patch. Had to work real hard for the fish. Lost heaps of gear with pretty inexperienced crew.

Fish were a lot more
Fish were a lot more scattered. All first timers on my boat. Promised them a great day. How wrong was I? Jigging style really mattered today. Erratic action was definately the key to success. Having said that, my 9 yr old son got about 5 good hookups from his lift n wind method. Left the barges at about 12.45 and got pounded on the way back to Hillarys.
Graet to see another forum member out there.

My boss fished out in 100m and got 4 pinkies biggest at 8kg, 1 dhuie, 4 blackarse, 2 queenies and 1 bauldie. So he had a good day.
