I bought a new 30p suzuki outboard about 3 years ago mate. Was cheaper than most, and ran like a dream. Got it from all boats in Wangara.

Hey mate, ive got a 70 hp 4-stroke suzuki and love it (although it is the only motoer ive ever had) I brought it brand new at the start of 2007, ive only done about 150hrs use with it but for that time it hasnt missed a beat. starts first time everytime. When idoling u cant even tell its running, only buy the jet of water squirting out the side. Even at high revs its still pretty quiet, for an outboard anyway. Very good on fuel too. My next motor will definently be another suzuki!!

Happy with Suzis

I reowered my last boat from a Yamaha 2 stroke to a suzuki 200hp four stroke. very happy with the performance and after sales/warranty. If I was in the market for a 4 stroke I would definatly be considering a suzuki.

Nearly bought a 90 Suzi

...when I was in the market. Was the cheapest out of all major brands of four-stroke and DI two-stroke, but at the time was also the heaviest, which was a major issue for me. That was the only thing that stopped me from buying it and they're probably lighter now anyway.

the most quiet outboard i know because i was standing next to one that was idling in the water but i could not hear it the, tell tail (pisser) was making more noise that the engine itself, most of my mates have them but there all rich

I had one

When I had suzi, I got those comments (about it being quiet) at the jetty. Started easy-pezzy every time, smooth, great motor. Now I have a 2 stroke yamy, wish I still had a 4/st suzi.

i have a oil injected 75hp suzi. had no dramas with it so far, guided up north with em for a whilst. no dramas with em then either. probably a total of 3 years in total using em. i was blown away by the service in the bush. bloke rocks up off the plane with what lookes like a computer case, plugs in to the outboards and gets a diagnostic and any problems. He was saying he can bring up the history of the outboard from day dot, rev range and how long at each rev range.ect. Having the money I would go a suzuki 4 stroke on the next boat no question.
