Swan Crabs

Has anyone been crabbing in the Swan recently. Wanting to take my Grankids tomorrow and just checking if there are still reasonable numbers of crabs at present. Thanks for any replies - Cheers

We got a few on the city
We got a few on the city side of the narrows using chicken drumsticks three weeks back. They were big.
we were a boat length away from the bridge so very close.

There was nothing around the city last weekend
may need to go closer to freo to avoid the fresh water

Swan Crabs
Went to Blackwall this morning - early start, about 6:45. Bagged in about 20 minutes (10 crabs) with 3 nets yielding 2 crabs each. 1st pull only minutes after dropping had a crab. Only used 3 nets as only 3 had long enough ropes. Went back to Matlida bay to pick up the grandchildren ( 2 more licenses. Much slower going later in the morning with another 9 added to the tally
