Haven't been crabbing lately myself in the swan, though i have heard from mates who go crabbing there all the time say they were struggling to catch a feed (last 2 weekends). Mandurahs still good though, was plenty there on the weekend anyway. Best of luck to ya
Thinking about heading off to drop a few nets in somewhere tomorrow mate so will try to remember to jump on here and let you know how I go if I do head out. Not sure where yet, but most likely Canning Bridge or the jetty at the Mt Henry bridge
Not going to get out today like I planned but here is Steve Correia's latest update on facebook:
CRABS IN THE SWAN
Despite recent reports that the Swan River is now a poison wasteland, in the real world it still seems to be producing some some cracking fish and also BIG crabs. Mandurah is also still producing crabs (you have to get past lots of runts) and Cockburn divers report big numbers too.
So could be worth a crack reading that and Timmo's report
Thanks for all the info looks like I'm off to Oceanside tackle tomorrow to get the nets for a crack on Sunday! The beer is guaranteed to be cold even if the crabs are quiet

yep
They are around caught 13 in about an hour last Wednesday evening. Sizes varied a lot. Had to sort of keep moving around till we found a good patch.
