Hi guys.

Any advise on spots and lures plastics I can try.

would've thought the Narrows
would've thought the Narrows would the best bet being your presumably landbased as it bottlenecks there...small twisties as your using should entice them when they come around , maybe timing with incoming tide and change of light should increase chances...moons been fairly full last few days as well ...might be a idea to soak a bait for a mully whilst having a flick around

Try Point Walter
Had my first try for swan tailor on Saturday morning trolling in the tinny. We found them out towards the end of the sand bank, Karrakatta bank side.
They were pretty close in I recon within a good cast. Got them on 20g twisties and small river2sea minnows.
Good luck.

I picked up a couple last
I picked up a couple last week at narrows,
Found noone else was catching as they were all surface fishing. let the lure sink to the bottom and work it up through the water column. this way you will pick the fish up if they are sitting deeper.

On two seperate occasions
On two seperate occasions just over a week ago I was fishing with 2 rods, one having a halco twisty both times and the other Rod a HB minnow and then a bluescode. Both times the twisty caught nothing and the other lure got a couple. The difference may simply have been that the other lures were working deeper, so yeh dont just fang them across the surface, lettem sink like jeremy said.

They're there alright
Hi Werner ... trouble is it's hit or miss. I had a stonkng day (7 biguns) not long back on plastics since then not a lot. Noticed they move about a lot see them all the time therefore so should you. Check out my tailor pick thats the stamp of them when they're on. Good luck oh and i fished deep and I've never had a touch on a twisty or any metal yet?

Hit & miss
I've been getting a couple on surface lures around Nedlands. Last few days they've slowed down somewhat, today I didn't get any but conditions were crap!
So far I've found the best time has been the hour before sunset....

Hiya fellas I troll with one
Hiya fellas I troll with one metal and one 2m+ swimmer the swimmer has been killing it but the metal gets hit as well. I reckon depth has a lot to do with it. Full moon probably has a lot to do with it.

Ive been having some
Ive been having some problems with hookups on the twisties so changed the treble down to a single hoping the fish'll bite the tail a bit better rather than half way along the body. But damn my 20g has some intense bite marks!
When i do hook up with a twisty is usually fowled, thats what those big trebles are good for
