Swanfish or a Weekend out on the deep blue ????

Well I've been waiting a year for the swanfish as it's the only time I target the bream and there's nothing like going back to basics but with such a good forecast for the weekend I'm in two minds do I spend the weekend hunting the bream and maybe win a few prizes or do I head out with the soft plastics and chase the demersals Saturday and maybe head out to rotto Sunday for a troll for mackies followed by a pint and a counter meal at rotto pub. It's a tough call but as we have got a babysitter for our little man all weekend I'll leave the decision making to the mrs.

isnt the rotto swim through on saturday. Would go early get some fishing in then sit at the pub whilst watching crazy ppl swim from cott to rotto!!! Would be way to scared of sharks and the fact id be stopping for a breather by about the bell

You can fish the river any weekend. The weather is looking awesome so don't waste it, especially considering you have a babysitter.
Sucking on a couple of frosty ones whilst watching the swimmers come ashore isn't a bad call either.

if the winds stay away i will be out from woodys for sure, trying some in closer spots i have, maybe head to the back of rotto if it suits.
the rain dosn't matter to me, least the boat will be cleaner.
might see you out there, troy will be with me as well as my other younger son.

Yep I've talked the mrs into it if the weather stays as forecast we'l be heading deep the river can wait. What day are u heading out Ron prob head sw of pont perron Saturday and rotto Sunday will call u on channel 96 if your heading out

change of plans again.
too hot for my car cruz, so has been put off for anothe day...
so looks like i might be going out both days if it stays like this, woodys on sat, point peron sunday, so yeah give us a call
i have 27meg as well so i will make sure its on.
again on sunday will have a small c/console with me so wont be going out to far unless its good for him.
