swine flu
Well i joked a few weeks back that i wanted it just so i can say that i got it and guess what? I got it all right!
Wed last week bed ridden sore throat like you wouldnt belive, hot cold flushes and massive amount of pressure on the front of my head and back. I have never had anything like that before.
Went to the doc's and first question he asked was "have you had flu needle?"
I replyed yes then he went and got me and him a mask. I was shocked. He said becuse the flu needle knocks out 3 of the 4 flus around at the moment then that leaves one only the swine!
I took thursday and friday off and i damm needed it!!!!
Saterday i was off to swandistricts becuase i was having trouble breathing and a painfull as helll cough. I had to wait 4 hours!!!!!! Lots of people in there sick with swine including kids!
Sat night was the worse with vomiting out both ends.
In total i was in bed from thurs till yesterday completly hammerd!!!!
Try you best not to get it!
Doctors are saying lots of people will get it but it wont kill you but will knock you around like you have never been before.
Im back at work now, its been 6 days and all i have now is a little cough but glad its over

Get well Mark - nasty stuff.
My young ones school had 50 kids of on Friday sick - thats a 1/4 of the school. And yeah, reports of piggy flu there.
Seriouly thinking of escaping for a few weeks to get a way from all these sick people.

Stupid cow comes back from Bali last Thursday, where one of her friends has a confirmed case of swine flu, then she comes to work today coughing and carrying on.
Some people have no brains or consideration for others.

The boss told her not to come back until she is well, so she hasn't come in all week.
She did manage to infect the bloke who sits next to her, so I thought I would decorate their desks for when they come back.

Yeah i stayed away from everyone for the last 4 days. Bored shitless but made sure noone would get it. I had the girlfreind with me the whole time and she doesnt have it. bit weird lol

My 9mo daughter had
My 9mo daughter had it...she's just finishing up with it. We've known a few people now that have had it. Most cases about like normal flu. They say you aren't contagious unless you are exhibiting symptoms.
So far the wife and I have dodged the bullet! Hope you are feeling better Marc!

Dont think it's swine flu
But saturday night had a nice dinner with the family (I made cornbread and cajun chicken) about 30 mins later had a bit of a headache (had been tired and a little headachey all day) so I had an hour nap, got up around 8pm freezing cold, but the window was slightly open so I figured it was just that. Hot shower to warm me up and out comes the first spew.... that was a bit odd, but I have a few stomach issues so it's not abnormal for me.
30 mins later, feeling boiling hot, so I went to the bathroom to wash my face, bent over the sink.. spew 2. Ok, not good... 30 mins after that, off to the toilet I go spew 3... then about every hour after that coming from both ends till 5am, when it all stopped. no nausea, nothing. However the sunday is best described as this...
Someone made a life size model of a b double out of plasticine and was driving it over me all day.. god damn was I sore. temp was a steady 38.5 most of the day even after panadol bloody hot, then shivering my arse off. Early monday morning I was sweating so much I think the bed turned into a swimmng pool. got up at 8am, took my temp 37.2... feeling better, ate a little food for dinner last night.. and now today.. temp back up to 38.4... and I'm feeling a bit nauseas again. These arent really the symptoms of swine flu.. apparently lot's of people are getting this bug. What gives me the shits more is 5 weeks aago I was off for 3 weeks with pneumonia, wife had surgey 2 weeks ago so I"m home looking after my son which isnt good, if he gets sick..... I need a maid...haha.
That's my whinge for the week. Hope none of you get this coz those plasticine trucks really hurt

That my friend is Influenza, and then a 95% chance it is swine
What you have is Influenza. Aches, pains, shivers, sweats, fatigue, headache, sore throat etc. Just google influenza symptoms. It can cause Vomitting and trots but mostly younger people.
Hopes this helps. But certainly influenza.

fear of the swine flu is over rated!!! its just a kick arse flu.... over a 1000 aussies die of flu EVERY YEAR! as for all these people saying they have had swine flu.... bollocks! without being tested, you cant say you have had swine flu, and it is irrisponsible for doctors to say so!

Yeah i thought Swine flu was over rated and a media beat up as well,,seems folks are dieing of it and unborn babys as well i believe,its not the harmless thing i thought,,especially if you have other health issues.
Three weeks ago i jumped in the lagoon at Cairns,,just got over the cough now and took a week and a half to get over the flu.

yes, but as with any flu fatalities, they are either young children, old people, or those with respitory problems. to many people are quick to say "i have swine flu", and they havent been tested for it ( which is the only sure way of knowing). i had a flu, lasted around 10 days as well.. does that mean i had swine flu??
