Tailor lures

I'm planning to give the lure fishing for tailor a go.

Any suggestions on lures and where can I buy them?

Regards

Werner

All depends on where you're going to fish.  Seen a few fellas doing well on here with Sinking Stickbaits lately, but for a cheaper start, 30gram chrome twisties and 1oz white or green richter plugs are very affective in reefy washy areas as surface lures.

Around the Swan and Mandurah Estuary, I like to use small bibbed lures such as the Smilin Jack.  The Jacks have proven to be very good tailor lures.

Have a chat with your local tackle store, they'll point you in the right direction.

All the best!

Head down to The fishing shop in woodvale and have a chat to brenz, bullchops, hide shallows or for the cheaper option Richter plugs work well

Yep bullchops are great can both be used as a sinking stickbait and worked as a surface lure and are well priced for the results they produce, hide shallows are awesome just a little more expensive. I personally like blusecodes but I know a few others who won't even use them... As mentioned above brenz sure knows his way around the tailor on lures thing.
