Just got back from two weeks in exmouth, will post a bit of a report with pics once various fishing partners send them through. Wanted to give a big shout out to Adam for the tips and for coming fishing and catching every single fish for the day trolling (I have since added an orange cd18 to my collection). Also a big thanks to Ant from Bluewater who was forthcoming with info and tips. To any newbie to Exmouth go with low expectations and an open mind and set of ears. I consider myself to be a reasonably proficient fisherman, but local knowledge cannot be beaten, especially in a place with such variable weather and tides. It really was two weeks of learning, of which the biggest lesson is "don't go in November". Seriously fishy spot, and can't wait to get back and hopefully get at least a couple of days to get out wide.

Good Fishing
Exmouth is a fantastic place for fishing.
No matter what the wind is like there is always some sort of
fishing to do wether its land based or boat.
IMO there are definatley better months for the weather. ie.. march, april time.
I have been going to exy for over 12 years and still love it.
Local knowledge is very important as areas change over time.

Cheers for the comments mate. Was a bit peeved we couldn't get onto some more fish, even though the conditions weren't very special! If you manage to get back up here any time soon, definately plan for March/April and we'll catch up and rectify the situation!!!

Wait for the Mackie shot
Still waiting on Mark to send me through the big Mackie shot but from how it looked on his camera definitely a FOTM contender. Still trying to talk MIchelle into letting us come up in March, she keeps mentioning something about a "wedding" in May that I am meant to be at and paying for.
