Don't worry , I won't call you a dumb ass.
If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

Sure do pal. I left my laptop
Sure do pal. I left my laptop o the back seat of my car on the verge one night only to come back in the morning to a smashed back window with laptop gone. the good thing was that the battery was stuffed so no use to them but the lost data was a pain. Got a drilling from the missus about leaving gear like that in the car. Even though it's my property you can't give the pricks the opportunity.

My car was broken into
My car was broken into recently too... someone snuck down our long driveway very early in the morning and went through 3 of our cars, leaving the doors and gloveboxes all open.
Surprisingly only a few coins and some expensive aftershave was stolen, but not my HDS7 gen2, or my fav rods & reels that i left in the car that night...
Cheap smelly bastards had no idea what they were worth thank god.. haha

Park
The caravan park where I have a park home had 10 cars broken into, one still with the back packer asleep in the back who woke up when they shut the door. Nothing pinched from either of our cars or the boat nearby and same for all the others so must have been looking for a car to steal.
Big surprise for them if they return as the owners have installed CCTV to monitor comings and goings, bit late but better than bugger all.
