A/T Tires 4WD

Hi All,

just wondering if anyone has used Hercules Terra Trac A/T 2?

If so, are they any good on beach?

all my fishing is Land base and my BFG's are done and need to get a new set.

any feed back would be great.

Cheers

quotes x2

Just got back from a hunting trip to Colorado. I got my new Hercules Terra Trac ATs in Sept. and finally got to play a little with them while in CO>
These tires are another version of the Bridgestone Revos. Tire pattern is very similar. The biggest difference is the price $20 to $70 cheaper per tire.
The Hercules brand is made by Cooper Tire.

Cooper Tire also manufactures Hercules branded tires in Findlay, Ohio.

Have you had a bad run with coopers?

I have a set on my old landrover and previously had a set on my landcrusier for 7 years without a puncture.

Had a set on my car for years as well, can't fault them. They've been everywhere on every terrain imaginable. Interested to know why you say stay away upg.

-1 for Coopers, very very

-1 for Coopers, very very disappointed in my last set. Big cracks through the tyre and very noisy (had stepping I think they call it). Bad in the wet. These were for Cooper ST.

Got Bridgestone Duelers D697s, seem good so far (only ~5000kms) and price was really good.

I had a set of hercules tera

Tue, 2015-02-24 13:24

I had a set of hercules tera traks a while ago on my old landcruiser ute. They were 35's and i was running a v8, no complaints from me they were good value, i could drop tyre pressures to 12psi no problems and the car would cruise up dunes idling with rear diff lock on. I sold the car not long after putting them on so cant comment on how long they would last. Cant go wrong with the bfg all terrains though, so many good reviews about them. I bought a set of bfg's with new rims recently from Tyrepower in Wangara, they were very good on price and excellent customer service

I've had both cooper & bfg

Wed, 2015-02-25 12:27

I've had both cooper & bfg in the A/T & M/T... Didn't mind the bfg.... Coopers I don't rate at all... I now run toyo M/T and love them, all the reviews  on the net rate them highly as well... My mate is running the Toyo open country A/T and I would seriously consider them if I was you...
