great feed and loads of fun by the sounds of it. as mentioned that spikey fish is both gurnard and scorpion fish. dont know which is the correct name tho. they do taste great and they do have a nice sting to them as well. i only got grazed by one and it hurt like hell for around 3 hours. only ever kept the big ones, and tried not to handle them until they were dead and when filleting them lay them flat using the palm of your hand over the gill plates that way unless it slips there is no way your going to get spiked.

Yeah the spikey one is a gunard perch or they also call them a scorpion cod....good to eat but dont touch the spikes or you will know all about it....apparently very painful.... I have caught and eaten them aswell.
