Transducer adapters - are they a thing?

hi team
i have a garmin sounder module (6 pin) that i want my Koden 8 pin transducer plug to go into - does anyone know if this can be done? i have found 3pin to 8 pin adaptors online - but really want to know if it will be compatible as well
