trip info
in reflection from our recent trip to Exy ( thread : exmouth drama ) both Rob and i acknowledged that when we had to make some serious phone calls from the Hospital we both relied on contact names and numbers being stored in our mobile phones, which were located back out our accomodation unit and some of the numbers were not current. Mrs just dhu it said she was amazed that i didnt cover all my basis when going away, especially when travelling to remote areas ,that we where all up to date with all contacts, mobile and land lines, work and home of each member and a simple way to do this would be pass around a note pad when under way and each person write down all of their own current contact numbers and doctors and medication they might be using at the time . this would not take long and would certainly save time when needed

When you think you've got all
When you think you've got all bases covered on trips like these there's something else that needs to be done or bought along. Bloody good heads up Just dhu it will definately do that for our upcoming Gnaraloo trip.
Hope your mate is making a good recovery?

Good post
Good post, the other problem is if your phone dies you lose all your contacts pays to have a copy written down of a few important numbers if you can't remember them. I recently got myself a Telstra next G sim card purely for when I am remote as I often fish alone and my contracted optus coverage doesn't work at alot of fishing spots I go to. Small price to pay for when things go wrong.
