Where is the best place (Metro) to pick up a couple macks lately?
If you dedicate the time your half way there. That said.......West end ie 15-30m is good BUT dont ignore the deeper outer reach spots ie bommies/rises/stucture in the 40m around Rotto!

when you say west end , do you mean tight in to chicken run or out a little deeper?

Right in the chicken run and out to about 30m, plenty of good ledges and drop offs to troll over.

heaps of bird activity off fish hook bay at west end today, north of bathurst heaps of bait schools and something chewing through one of them
