hey all trollers.
i was just trying to get a bit of wire together to make up rigs but i donno which one is good.
ive seen some from halco which is seven strand wire premade with clip and sivel ready to go does anyone use it? and if so does it stop other things from hitting the lure lik tuna or salmon?
or is there some good premade wire traces out there that are good?
im going to be running halco standard deep and crazy deep in the metro area wen its mackie season so and help before then would be much appertiated.
cheers danno

id be using single strand wire for lures myself ... and i wouldnt make rigs out of wire - but thats your choice .. for rigs id use nylon coated multi strand . but yes a lot of fish will shy off it

Lock weld
Have always used halco lockweld in the past and hasn't let me down for mackerel. Will only use wire wen targeting macs tho, As in my expirience catch rates have been higher on the non toothies with mono
