Trout lures

I'm heading down to Karri Valley for a few days fishing soon. Have heard that corn and bugs are the best baits for the local trout. Can anyone recommend a few good lures?

Trout lures
I've had success on halco laser pros in the brown n rainbow trout colours. Depends wat they are doing. Last week I noticed plenty trout surfacing so I switched to a tiny popper in a translucent olive colour, few casts n I nailed a really nice brown trout, would have been 50cm + I didn't get a size or weight as I let him go, this was up at Harvey

Once you have caught a fewfrom the lake/dam find a stream and fish it. So much more rewarding! Yo zuri pins minnows kill it on the streams. If you struggle to find spots just fish under the bridges.

Celtas spinners are always my go to lure! They are cheap too, get a pack of two for around $10.
If you want a minnow style i have found my favourites are the Ecogear SX40's. The diving/suspending minnow style are also more better for the Redfin too i have found, but very expensive to lose at about $20 per lure.

Celta spinners seem to work
Celta spinners seem to work well and if the spinners arent working the halco rmg scorpion lures seem to work well, brown trout colour works well and really good on the redfin as well.

I have caught trout on 1/24
I have caught trout on 1/24 size jighead with a dark green c tail grub.
Also caught them on strike pro bream bait.
Rapala F3 floating in trout pattern works too.
If possible use singles as it is harder for the fish to throw the lure.

I would recommend the
I would recommend the following:
Rapalas floating F3 or even F5 for working near the surface. Brown or rainbow patterns are good. You could try the sinking as well to work deeper water.
Celtas are very good and cheap. Tassies are graet lures but I mainly use them for trolling, I am sure they are just as efficient when cast and retrieved. just make sure you use a swivel somewhere as they do give you nasty line twist.
If nothing else is working throw out a bigger lure, say 7cm or so. Trout are aggresive fish and they may just take a swipe at it

Update
Thanks for all your comments. Just got back from Karri Valley resort. Couldn't catch a trout in the Beedelup Dam to save our lives. Tried corn, spinners, lures and bugs. To be honest I don't think there were too many trout in the dam.
Couldn't resist giving the trout farm a bash and found most lures worked.....Celtas, Halco Laser Pros, HRT Small Fry. But the biggest turn on for the trout was a coating of S Factor on the lures. Caught four to fry up for lunch at the Farm and four to bring home.
Good luck to all.

Celtas
I have used Celtas in the streams in Victoria for years and have had heaps of fish caught. Both browns and rainbows. Red and black ones always worked a treat.
Cant fish from home...
