Run them really long and don't be afraid to keep going till you have multiple hookups.

Agree
Agree with Till, run them way back, those sort of skirts normally 9 knots or better, hooked plenty trolling at 12. Don't be too concerned if you don't see any bird activity.
30-35m seems to be the most popular depth to find them
Good Luck !

Like Rick said, 9 knots or better. I prefer between 10 to 12 knots, but I'm talking about skirts for this.

Tuna
Have picked up Tuna on the way back in every trip so far. I would go 6-8 Knots and a Halco lure (I use the blue and pink one - forget the name). Eventually you will hit a school, it may take a few miles but you will. I catch them all the time withough a bird in sight, they are usually a give away when you see 5+ brids though. Were some massive schools off Lanceling yesterday, I did this time find the schools from the birds but had already caught one withough a bird in sight (and that is usually the case).
Try this receipe if you get some, bloody fantastic!

Wev'e been running Richter
Wev'e been running Richter Juniour Tornado's 5" and Williamson Pea Bea 5", all colours , way out the back on every trip out for the last month and are catching 4 to 6 every day ( 19 trips in Sept ). We troll at cruising speed for us which is anywhere from 12.5kts to 16knts. Speed doesnt seem to bother them. Off Jurien they are sitting in a water temp between 17.2C and 17.6C. Generally we will hook up on the edge of the temp change.
