two rocks

i am planning to drag my boat from Leeming up to Two Rocks on sat morning for the first time ( probably going solo ) and just wondering if there is anything i need to be aware of once outside the Marina.

We are planning on going out sat morning as well
The swells are forecast for 2-3m (BOM Meteye) so stay on the lead line in and out of two rocks. Morons put cray pots right on the lead lines so watch for them. Don't cut the corner to the right before the lead line ends heading out if your gonna go fishing north as the swells come up quick in that area (just west of the reef) . Watch for whales as there were a few out there last weekend. The fish were on last weekend between 1pm and 4:30pm we boated 13 demersals ended up keeping two dhuies 76 and 73cm and a couple of pinkys that were in the 50 odd cm range (lots of undersize pinkies returned) and a few breaksea cod returned. What boat will you be in? If we are there at the same time will come say hello and give you a tip or two on where we been getting fish cheers dave

TWO ROCKS
THANKS BEEROCLOCK, mate i a have 22ft Fraser, white colour called Reel fredom2. I am hoping to be there before 6.30am. Thanks for the tips about heading out from the marina, very much appreciated mate. Sounds like yo hada great day out there last weekend. I have completely lost my mojo going out from Cockburn & just can't find the fish for the last year.
I am wanting to head north for sure, not panning on heading out wide, more wanting to run north for about 5ks or more & look for ground

With a 3 mtr swell it can break across the mouth /entrance to the marina so watch for that as well

Bit of advice take a mate
Bit of advice take a mate with you helps to speed up launch and retrieval times that ramp can be a nightmare when its busy on the wknd and people do get frustrated there seen a few punch ons over the years there

thanks mate, i have been solo launch & retreive for many years, not fussed about smart asre blokes as i carry 115kgs of solid body mass
