Don't come ashore if you head

Don't come ashore if you head north or you could be up for $50k in fines

swells for satuday not looking good.   BOM Meteye shows swells at two rocks to be  2-3m at 5am increasing during the day to  3-5m so i wouldnt go out sat. Swells for sunday and monday not available yet so hopefully they decrease

Yeh Brock O - friday swells are 2-3m at two rocks early

Wed, 2020-04-22 13:50

morning then dropping during the day with low wind - if i had an RDO i'd go out friday too!. But saturday it all changes quickly.  On saturday a  2-3m swell early morning going out  then coming into two rocks at 5pm on a 3-5m swell is dangerous (i think anyway) I find that If you use seabreeze perth metro for a two rocks trip its not accurate, the swells are usually higher at two rocks because the swell barrier effect rottnest has on the coast is not present at two rocks. The BOM Meteye page shows how the SW swells are not affected by rotto at two rocks so it can get dangerous if you only check seabreeze perth

 Seabreeze forecasts are just

Wed, 2020-04-22 18:00

Seabreeze forecasts are just o.k but Christ I'd take them with a little more than a pinch of salt.

Over the years I have learnt to look at that site pretty much the day before as their 5 day outlook is more miss than hit.

Safe boating.

 If using Seabreeze then I'd

Wed, 2020-04-22 19:17

If using Seabreeze then I'd be looking at Lancelin forecast for Two rocks and north as it's usually pretty well the same all through there not getting the protection of the Rotto lee.

Fishranger and Meteye more precise.

Wed, 2020-04-22 19:14

if you do go make a hard right out the marina so you dont get swamped by a set over wall, travel 50m north along coast then head west.

head for the 40's slightly north and bang your on

Stay on the pink track line.
