Salmon.

Got my first big one ever, at the lagoon. There is usually a decent run of them up there around this time every year, and they are big...I reckon they feed up on the way through the southwest and metro/rotto to ready themselves for spawning, and by the time they get that far north they've really packed on the weight!

I know I got mine on baitcast mulies (no weight) and I think most of the others were getting them on the same. Was 6 or 7 years ago and were my first and last salmon on bait!

Lagoon not good on a swell

Lagoon not good on a swell as to much rip running though ,find it hard to hold bottom .Two Rocks marina end off long rock wall, castto the north good tailor and od sharks not bad with the swell don't get to close to the water as waves will break at the end off this wall good luck.

Fished off the End of the Marina Wall... Heavy Swell...

Probably a Dozen people chasing anything on the surface with unweighted mulies and glow sticks...

All we saw get caught between 8pm and 1am was a Port Jackson shark...

Ourselves we had big sinkers on and whole herring, seeing what we could rustle up...

Yet another Ray.... And a metre plus shovel nose... Both which went back in...

OH and no weed in sight... at least out on the end of the south wall...
