Uploading Photos and Mandurah Refueling Question

Hi all
Was previously using Photobucket, but not happy to pay them for storage of a few photos that I use to upload on here. What other options do I have, remembering Im no Tech-head.

Boat finally parked on its new home on the water and I don't want to pull her out to fill the tank. Is there other on-water refuelling options other than the Mandurah Marina and Bouvard Marina.

Not sure if there is a facility at Mandurah Quays.

PS was trying to upload the photo of her on the floating jetty, and discovered now you have to pay Photobucket - get stuffed!!!

You can do it directly from your computer

if you are the thread starter. Boxes below will get you to select the pic from your local drive, , go upload, then save when you are finished. But if you want to photobomb someone elses' thread, you will still need a photo hosting site. I personally use Smugmug, have for a long time. Works really well, not expensive. Then, if you want to inset a pic into someone elses' thread, go to your site, select HTML only inside of picture, right click the link, then, in your reply, click Disable Rich Text at the bottom left hand side, and simply paste the link to your photo in. will look at that one. Lucky I don't have many Photos on Photobucket saved and forced to pay to get them back.

You dont have to pay to get

Thu, 2018-01-25 16:56

You dont have to pay to get them back or access, only to link them to a 3rd party host such as FW is my understanding
Probably timely to note that for old threads that come up with an error due to Photobucket you can add an extension to Chrome/Firefox so that they work once again

with the fueling up i think

Fri, 2018-01-26 08:49

with the fueling up i think it might be a case of carrying jerry cans down to the boat with a trolly. i havnt heard of any other places to fuel up other than mentioned.

you would think with so much boating that goes on down here one of the fuel giants would come up with a fualing station on the waters edge , to me it would make sense . enviro side of it could be tricky tho.

Dropbox for pics

Thu, 2018-02-08 14:20

I use Dropbox, free if personal use (not sure how they’d know either way), more than enough space for my use, but can buy more if neede, easy to use, also has a phone app for uploads etc

https://www.dropbox.com/help/account/create-account

As for fuel, there’s also the old one on the way up to the Ravo, but their all expensive (if that’s a concern) . Jerrycans & discount fuel voucher on Mondays

Figured it out

If you sign up and do a induction on line with bailey's marine fuel you can fill in the marina.
The Fuel Jetty is pretty tall so in my wee boat it is a little of a bugger to climb up but have managed it (old fart in development!!!).
According to Bailey's you have to have 2 people to refuel. One on land next to the emergency button, and one onboard obviously.
They send you a fuel card.
Bouvard does have fuel but twice the distance away!!
