Vehicle for towing a boat

Hi,
I have a Mazda CX9 (FWD) 3.7 V6. Tow bar is rated to 2000KG.
Will this be up to the job of towing a 5m boat and getting it in and out at the boat ramps? I would be mostly using boat ramps at East Freo/Point Walter and Woodman Point.
The boats I'm looking at re quintrex freedom sport. I believe the total weight is somewhere between 800-1500kg depending on which boat dealer you believe!

OK
So long as your boat's total weight (incl gear,, esky, full fuel tank, etc etc) is withint the towing limits, then you should be OK
I've used my Wife's V6 RAV4 to launch / retrieve my 5m Plate Centre Console once or twice without drama
As our tides aren't that big, the ramps are generally good for traction

Legally no probs
Just watch the front wheel drive may have traction problems on some ramps

You'll be fine. I towed my
You'll be fine. I towed my boat, total including trailer about 1400kg with a toyota aurion for a good few years. Towed great but burnt through the fuel. With FWD you'll just need to stick with good concrete ramps. I only has issues once with a lot of sand one

If your spinning the wheels on the ramp
And you’ve got room turning the wheels left and right can help with traction by weaving your way out.

Check the towball weight
Check the towball weight limit. I think the Mazda’s will be pretty low and if the 5m boat is ona single axle trailer it may be higher.
edit - appears to have a 150kg limit that probably will be enough
