Verado oil change.

The easy and clean way to change the oil on a early model verado.  Mine has a horizontal sump plug, to drain all the oil that way is a VERY meat job. This oil extraction pump is slow but easy.  It's good for cars and transmission to.

We use those at work also, not a cheap option but easier in some cases.
Doesnt always make it to the bottom of the sump though

 I use the same extractor

I use the same extractor when serviceing my F150's. Going off how much oil the manual says they should take when refilling I reckon it pretty much gets all the dirty oil out.

Oil extractor

Got all but about 200ml out with the large hose. Changed to the smallest hose scavenging the Last bit out. When I took the sump plug out only a dribble was left. The only negative was I should have warmed the engin up a bit, being cold it took a while.

I use one on my inboard too. 10 mins on the hose def helps thin it out a bit.
