Vernon Islands NT vid

This is from a month or two ago when I was in the NT, did a day trip out to the Vernon Islands casting around drop offs for queenies, cod, trout etc.
We didn't have a great day out but there were a few reasonable fish landed... enough to keep us entertained anyway. These were some of the better fish of the day (best watched in HD):
Cheers

Love the vernons. I was up there for chrissy last year. landed three nice jewies and then picked up a 92cm baz in the mouth of leaders on the way home. good times
I live with fear every day... sometimes she lets me go fishing.

Syd there were only four of
Syd there were only four of us fishing, the fifth was the skipper and he didn't wet a line. There was plenty of room... given there was no wind we generally fished two on each side of the boat which was pretty comfy. If I get up to the NT again it would be great to catch up, its always best fishing with locals
Webby - definately a nice place to fish but it was pretty quiet for us. Loads of small trevs and spanish flag with a couple of decent fish to break things up. Nice to know there are good fish around there though.
