VHF Emergency signal test
Submitted by Genoa on Tue, 2013-03-19 18:24
I have linked my VHF radio emergency signal to the GPS and don't know how to test if it works.
Tried to explain it to a chap from rocko rescue but he was of an older vintage than I and and was no help.
Any ideas?

If connected properly it
If connected properly it should display it on your radio as Lat/long, or just 'DSC' or something like that. What radio is it ?
Have you registered your MMSI?
Most radios also have a test function in the menu.
