VHF repeaters

Does anyone have any idea where I can find a list of the various VHF coastal repeaters and the channels they work on? I cant find anything on DOT or Google for that matter.

Thanks

Try the Fire and Emergency website.  The sea rescue side was instrumental in setting them up around the state.

Cheers

yeah tried that through Google, and again straight from their website just then with no hits. Also DPI, DOT.

Only found a document saying they were installing one.

Thanks-where did you get that list from? And the actual locations of the repeaters?

There seems to be some missing, geraldton VMR list a ch81 at the Abrolhos but no location, Abrolhos stretches for about 80+ miles?

Geraldton Sea Rescue list it as channel 81 not 80.

Did a Google for the "Sea Rescue Diary" but comes upwith nothing?

If you are a member of a VRMA affiliated sea rescue group you will be issued with one on request, they are not on line.

Im a bit confused still?

thanks Carnarvonite for the info.

All seems a bit odd to me, why the repeaters locations and channels are only available to Sea Recsue members.

I thought they were public facilities for general use?
