Wagoe Mackies and hooked finger

A few mates and myself managed to get up to Wagoe for the first time the other week so thought I would put a quick post. We left Friday night and arrived 3am on Saturday, with 3 hours sleep we woke at sunrise to be greeted with a 15knot easterly and had the baloons out asap. As the winds were changing west in the afternoon we only had the mornings but thats all that was needed for the 3 days we had there. Anyway here are some pics, was a fantastic weekend and will definately getting back up there again.

I love the first pic. It really provides a great impression of a great fish and fishing spot.
Looks like the boys had a great few days - apart from the hook in the finger. It trust that came out relatively ok.

Well done fellas, top catch!!  Looks like the hook would have been an easy fix, least it went all the way through.

It didnt quiet go all the way through, the barb was 1/2 way through my finger so we tried to push it all the way which was proving difficult so i got the trusty sweebo and made a small tear and then ripped the rest open so i could push the barb through. We didnt have any decent cutters either so we had to clamp the barb, file it down and then push it back out... Was an interesting experience but fortunately it wasnt as bad as it could have been.
