Went out on Wed with 8 pax
Went out on Wed with 8 pax to Hillarys patch. Hooked up to 4 sambos first drop. Got eaten. Sent down the shark rig and hooked up to I reckon a 9 footer. Got him nearly up but braid burnt off on tail 2/3 up.Big sharks. But gettable and I'm going out Fri for another go. Good fun. Fished a tyrnos 80 lb but had 2mtrs longlone mono and crimps as leader which worked well. Didn't bite off. So no photos but always next time. .....

It can be done
but it is still a under ten foot shark and it is still swimming strongOver ten foot the story would be a little different.I cant wait to see a pic of a big one that is not a mako.
So tell me have you got your info from years on the water or hours on the internet?
