Hooked up the boat yesterday seebreeze and bom looked great 5-10kn winds turning 8-13kn in the afternoon 2m swell easing to 1.5m 0.5m seas.Well it wasnt even close headed out from tworocks at 530am more like 20knts easterly and 1.5m seas was lke a washing machine for most of the day.About 1ish it started dropping off, but beside that had a good days fishing with 6 duhies 2 monster baldchins and 4 dhuies back in the water to survive another day. Headed back in at 3.30pm and it really dropped of then it was a nice quick ride home on 32knts.

Yeah it was pretty shitty
Yeah it was pretty shitty early on , but calmed off nice. Last I read was 8-13 knots in the morning on BOM, and it was blowing 15 during the morning, so not too far off. Seabreeze on the other hand were saying well below 10 knots.

Have to agree with you
Have to agree with you Johnno. It was rough as guts behind Five Fathom. However, we did manage a good Nannygai, Breaksea and Dhuey... But once, again... unreliable Seasbreeze

Was an average trip out
The odd white cap. Your always hoping for that glassy fast ride out but most often its not that way. The trip in was great but late coming. It got glassy off 5 fathom around 2pm

blowing fairly well easterly this morning a good 15 knots made trip out ok , but the trip back in ..... s..l...o....w.....
If I spent half as long fishing , as I do reading this bloody forum , I'd be twice the fisherman I am.

Use Wilyweather a lot more,
Use Wilyweather a lot more, seems to be more accurate for Bunghole than Seabreaze.

Was out in the 400m mark
yesterday (10/8/2011) was pretty sloppy but no probs in holding bottom, but all we got were green eyes and a 6ft whaler. About 4pm headed to the 90's and got our boat limit of 3 ppl in 1hour....phitt!
