Water Bore

I know bugger all about bores - does anyone know what an average likely price to drill would be for Perth in sandy / easy soil. Im guessing the drilling part is charged by the meter - thanks.

Bore costs
In 2001 I had a bore installed in the North Perth area, 24m deep. Installation costs including drilling, pipework, submersible pump and electrical works was around $3k. That was 15 years ago so clearly those costs would be less than today's prices.

God damn lucky where I live,
God damn lucky where I live, sunk a bore about 10 years ago the water is almost potable. No staining, stink and very clean. But from what the driller told me it changes rapidly in the topographyof the area.

Used to have a bore and the water table was 14m .had to put in a submersable down to 30+ . The water has been tested and its better than what comes out of the taps. Think it cost about $4000 to put in 12 years ago. Oh lovely water from High Wycombe .
