wellington dam

Hey guys, I just found Wellington Dam on google earth & it looks huge. Anyone had any luck fishing it & whats the access like. We dont have 4wd but it looks close to Australind so maybe easy to get to from Capel.
I`d rather be fishin`!!!

Good acsess for two wheel drive you could find a spot no worries . Below the dam wall is a spot called honeymoon pool great camping spot right on the colie river . dont think you can use bait in the dam ,but I might be wrong .There is a small island towards the back of the dam .if you can get on there youl do very well.but watch out for the tiger snakes there as big as crocodiles Did I mention the feral pigs and banjoe playing rednecks with shot guns .Good luck
