What size electric motor for tinny?

looking at getting a lecky for a 12 foot tinny. Was thinking a 44lb transom mount. Do you think this would be big enough to push it along with 2 adults and the usual fishing gear?

no probs
will do the job easily just make sure you use a deep cycle battery not a cranking battery and the the more amps capacity the further you will go

What about a 4stroke
Thought about a 4stroke outboard, Suzuki do a 4,5 and a 6HP with built in top tanks. Not as cheap as a electric but atleast you dont have to worry about your battery being charged.
