Started garaging my boat but now the house stinks. Clean with carwash liquid as usual but that can't beat the snapper blood smell. What you guys using/scrubbing onto your carpet decks ?

nilodor
You could try Nilodor which is a very concentrated deodoriser and should be available from coles or the local chemist. Make sure that you use as per the instructions.

Mate, you'll just have to stop catching pinkies

Killtank if you've got one.
Killtank if you've got one. Just make sure you wash it out thoroughly and out the bungs. Gets pretty rancid if left to settle.
Got keen?

Ahhh it's mayhem lately.
Ahhh it's mayhem lately. Pinkies all over the deck.. Even just pinky itself is smelly once dry. Very distinctive fish smell.

Woolies' version of Napisan
Woolies' version of Napisan (sodium percarbinate) mixed in hotwater and then scrub carpet with broom in boat. Leave and then hose out.
You could also use diluted bleach, but not sure if it will remove colour from carpets as well as the smell.

I use liquid chlorine
I use liquid chlorine diluted with water, kills the smell straight away and has never bleached the carpet, but it can bleach your clothes if you are not careful
