I took the boat for a run this afternoon in the sound and noticed this close to the BP refinery.

I would say possibly very thick bait ball/snapper school of our dreams or a huge pile of cat food being salmon!

Do old fishermen eventually smell like there bait?
Had a few trolls thru that area , and we say its bait, they seem to like hanging around that area.
Sometimes when spotting some bigger shapes around them , they have formed into classic round bait balls that would do exxy proud,
although really never caught much around them.
