whats e bigs mullet caught on fishin tackle?

Has anyone caught mullet fishing for bream in a river system using prawns, my son caught a 47cm mullet at Greenough river last night could not believe my eyes

Yeah , a couple time each year i will catch mullet on bream baits in the Swan river. Not sure why, maby they are spawning and become agressive.
When i do catch them i normaly get a few over a couple days then none for the rest of the year.
Nice catch for ya son, if i could get them to take a fly it would be great fun , they fight realy hard.

not whilst fishing for bream but i have caught them whilst
fishing for herring in mangles bay! i have also seen some old fellas out there fishing with a berly/dough mix and catching a few

Don't know jack about mullet...
but looks to be a good size and the young bloke looks wrapped...well done
