When is Sambo season

Would like to try a bit of sambo jigging and would like to know when the Sambo season is.
Do fisheries do tagging every year and how do you get involved?

Sambo's
November to march ,Tagging is still on going but not as big as they were a couple of years ago .
I have tagged over 1000 fish so far.

Plastic Yellow one's with numbers printed on them .
