where are the herring atm?

I live south of river. would love to take my young bloke for a few herring (LB). any sugestions as to where they are bighting at the moment and what are the best times? Thanks.

we found them
at the first reef off mindarie the other day but they wouldn`t bite on any bait.hundreds of them and not one on the hook.

Ive been getting heaps of them around madora bay and singleton, middle of the day with those little rigs with the silver bits on them. Just cut them in half and put some squid on the hooks

Ive heard people getting
Ive heard people getting heaps in the woodman point area, they been using maggots as baits. If u are willing to travel NOR the north wall of hillarys has been dynamite, been cleaning up over there over the past week.
