where is nato reef

hey guys,i have herd people talking about nato reef alot just wondering if someone would be able to tell me were it is. dont want your marks just a rough location. is it worth a fish out there and what type of fish are caught out there.

might give you a more exact location (it's on all chartplotters) but from memory it's 24Nm NNW from quindalup boatramp. Be very careful picking the best days to go out there. Being such a hike the fishing is pretty good for all the usually species eg. Dhuies, Queenies, Nannygai, Sambo's, YTK etc.

As Matt says its North of the cape and its on the charts. You can't fish on top of it with any swell as its breaks but there is heaps of ground around it. Have seen white water on Nato reef from 3kms away.

thanks guys, nato does not come up on my charts, i have nat reef on it and it looks like it is in that area. will have to go for a serch on a good day. hope the weather will get better soon

you'll find that 'nato' is Naturaliste shortened.
